MMIC/ Монолитная СВЧ ИС

 

Использование монолитных ИС чаще всего наблюдается в СВЧ-диапазоне и именно  в тех приложениях, где имеются требования небольших размеров и высокой надежности. Примером систем на базе МИС  являются передатчики и  приемники систем связи, антенные фазированные решетки, датчики  сверхвысоких частот и т. д. В настоящее время МИС СВЧ активно используются в спутниковой и сотовой телефонии, устройствах  GPS. Полученные успехи технологии МИС широко применяются и в создании дискретных компонентов биполярных гетеротранзисторах, выполняемых по технологии МИС.  Такие транзисторы пользуются большим спросом у компаний, производящих профессиональные средства связи. Монолитные ИС имеют характерный признак в виде низкой степени их интеграции относительно цифровых микросхем. В данном случае монолитная ИС  -  законченное функциональное устройство, не нуждающееся в использовании каких-либо задающих внешних или подстроечных элементов.
